Tidak seperti Microsoft Visual Basic 6 yang hanya berjalan pada Platform Windows XP saja, tetapi Delphi punya kelemahan, yaitu Program yang dihasilkan Delphi ketika digunakan diwindows xp akan meminta Install Netframework yang terupdate.

Jika Muncul Pesan " Error Unable to rename 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Borland\Delphi7\Bin\delphi32.$$$' to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Borland\Delphi7\Bin\delphi32.dro' " Ketika menjalankan Aplikasi Delphi 7.0 di windows 8. Atasi dengan cara berikut.
    1. Tutup aplikasi Delphi tersebut.
    2. Buka C:\Program Files (x86)\Borland\Delphi7\Bin\delphi32.dro hapus file delphi32.dro tersebut
    Copikan file INI dan timpah File nya

    Microsoft Visual C++ (often abbreviated as MSVC or VC++) is a commercial (free version available), integrated development environment (IDE) product from Microsoft for the C, C++, and C++/CLI programming languages. It features tools for developing and debugging C++ code, Microsoft Windows API, the DirectX API, and the Microsoft .NET Framework.

    Many applications require re-distributive Visual C++ packages to function correctly. These packages are often installed independently of applications, allowing multiple applications to make use of the package while only having to install it once. These Visual C++ Redistributable and Runtime packages are mostly installed for standard libraries that many applications make use of.
    Visual C++ 6.0 (commonly known as VC6), which included MFC 6.0, was released in 1998. The release was somewhat controversial since it did not include an expected update to MFC. Visual C++ 6.0 is still quite popular and often used to maintain legacy projects. There are, however, issues with this version under Windows XP, especially under the debugging mode (for example, the values of static variables do not display). The debugging issues can be solved with a patch called the "Visual C++ 6.0 Processor Pack". Version number: 12.00.8804
